Dr. Proksch, head of the biological pharmacy department at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf/Germany, is one of the leading marine biotechnologists in Europe. He is an expert in the isolation and chemical analysis of marine substances and has supported SeaLife with his broad knowledge and network since the very beginning.

Ao. Univ.-Prof. Dr. Martin Czejka

University of Vienna and Austrian Society of Applied Pharmacokinetics

Dr. Czejka is a clinical pharmacokineticist and vice-head of the Department for Clinical Pharmacy and Diagnostics at the University of Vienna/Austria. He is specialized in the ADME pharmacokinetics and pharmacogenetics of drugs and assists SeaLife in the field of drug formulation and administration, preclinical and clinical pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism. Dr. Czejka also is the president of the Austrian Society of Applied Pharmacokinetics (ASAP).

Dr. Abdessamad Debbab

Dr. Debbab is organic chemist at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf/Germany and a leading expert in the isolation, identification and synthesis of new drug compounds. His wide experience in chemical analytics and organic synthesis supports SeaLife in our development of the chemical strategy.

Dr. Erwin Klein

Easypharm, former distribution & marketing CEO Novartis Austria

Dr. Klein is a co-founder of Easypharm Ltd, a new Austrian pharmaceutical company focusing on the marketing & distribution of generic drugs. He is a GP by education and held numerous roles in the pharmaceutical industry during the last 20 years. In his last position he was the CEO of Novartis Pharma Austria and the Global Head of Novartis Ophthalmics. Dr. Klein will contribute with his extensive commercial pharma knowledge to support SeaLife in its commercial strategy.

Mag. Johannes Schwertner

Easypharm, former CFO Sandoz Anti-Infectives

Mag. Schwertner is a co-founder of Easypharm and has a track record of nearly 20 years in the industry. In his recent assignments he held roles at Novartis and Sandoz, including CFO of the largest Sandoz plant (Kundl/Austria), CFO of the Business Unit Anti-Infectives and Global Head of Business Planning & Analysis at the Sandoz headquarters in Holzkirchen/Germany. He will support SeaLife in all strategic financial decisions and apply his knowledge on antibiotic manufacturing and the supply chain.
